Prayers in Community

Sat with a number of members this morning in our outdoor worship space. What a beautiful location for early morning prayers.

Have you spent time with God in prayer today?

Sharing time with God is not only about lifting up our prayers of concern and prayers of thanksgiving for blessings... it's also about spending time listening for God to speak to us.

Apparently last week and this week, God's asked us to pull a few weeds to make our worship space more beautiful-we each grabbed a handful and yes... it looked better. As the day progresses, we are assured that God will continue to speak to us; we are atuned to God's Spirit this day for we are listening... listening for the Word of God.

We are a community-a connection in Christ felt by each of us in this shared time and space. As we went our separate ways, there was a recognition that while we may have different activities we are brought together by these small moments of abiding with God... and with each other.
